Water Quality Committee

The Association's Water Quality Committee evaluates our lake and its surrounding watershed in order to preserve and protect the water environment for the enjoyment of all.

Activities of the Committee include periodic evaluation of the water environment through examination of chemical, biological, and aesthetic parameters which reflect the overall quality of the lake environment. Septic tank studies are performed to assist homeowners in evaluating the performance of home septic systems to insure the impact upon the lake is minimized or eliminated. Other studies are performed as necessary to preserve and protect lake quality.

Executive Summarys from The Adirondack Watershed Institute's study of Rainbow Lake, Clear Pond and Loon Pond are available for download as Adobe Acrobat .pdf documents.
